The Square D JDA36175 is a 175-amp, 3-pole, 600V PowerPact J-Frame molded case circuit breaker for I-Line plug-in applications. It provides thermal-magnetic LI protection with a 14 kAIC interrupting rating at 600VAC and 18 kAIC at 480VAC. The JDA36175 is 80% rated for continuous loading, meaning it can carry 140A continuously in a 40°C ambient environment. The I-Line plug-in design allows for quick installation and removal in Square D I-Line panelboards and switchboards without tools. Dual-break rotating contacts reduce peak let-through current during fault conditions, and the integral push-to-trip button enables manual testing. The JDA36175 is UL 489 Listed, CSA Certified, and IEC 60947-2 compliant. It is commonly used as a feeder circuit breaker in commercial and industrial power distribution systems and serves as a modern replacement for legacy FA36175, FH36175, and HFD3175 I-Line breakers.
